Global DevOps Bootcamp 2018

The Global DevOps Bootcamp 2018

After a successful event last summer, the Global Devops Bootcamp returns this year on June 16th. Together with Xpirit and Microsoft we are again sponsoring this event-in-a-box where organizers all over the world provide attendees with a chance to learn and try out the latest DevOps principles using the Microsoft platform. The event was a major success, held on 30 different locations around the globe with over 1500 people attending.

This year, we’re taking it to the next level. With over 60 registered organizers, more people will have the opportunity to attend and hopefully help spread the DevOps word further. We’re also updating the theme to better target what we believe to be one of the most important aspect of DevOps today – release frequency.

From one release per month to multiple times a day

This year, the theme is From one release per month to multiple times a day. Using applied modern release patterns and practices, almost all organizations can build an environment in which it’s possible to release multiple times a day. By improving the release cadence, much can be gained and this year’s edition of the boot camp will give extensive insight into that.

As you participate in this year’s Global DevOps Bootcamp, you will quickly understand the latest DevOps trends and technologies that enables this type of release frequency. It’s an amazing combination of getting your hands dirty and sharing experience and knowledge with other participants.
